West Bengal NEET UG 2026 Stray Vacancy Schedule Out; Registration Open Until October 14

The West Bengal Medical Counselling Committee (WBMCC) has released the revised online stray-vacancy schedule for NEET UG 2026 MBBS and BDS admissions. Online registration began at 11 AM on October 13 and will close at 6 PM on October 14, 2026.

Registered candidates can pay the counselling fee until midnight on October 14. Choice filling and locking for successfully verified candidates will run from 4 PM on October 15 until midnight on October 16.

The first stray-round allotment result is scheduled to be published after 4 PM on October 17, 2026.

All times are based on the server time stated in the official schedule. Candidates should finish each activity early instead of waiting for the closing minutes.

Who Must Attend Physical Document Verification?

Candidates completing fresh registration for the stray-vacancy round must follow the document-verification instructions displayed by WBMCC and report to a designated verification centre within the official window.

The revised schedule states that candidates who were already successfully verified in an earlier round do not have to participate in physical document verification again.

Only successfully verified candidates can proceed to choice filling and locking, subject to WBMCC eligibility rules.

How to Register and Fill Choices

1. Visit the official WBMCC UG Medical and Dental counselling page.
2. Open the candidate registration and login portal.
3. Complete registration with the required NEET UG and candidate information.
4. Pay the counselling fee before the payment deadline.
5. Complete physical document verification if required.
6. Check the successfully verified candidate list and official seat matrix on October 15.
7. Log in after 4 PM on October 15 and arrange eligible MBBS or BDS choices in genuine preference order.
8. Lock choices before midnight on October 16 and retain the final submission record.

Candidates should not enter a college or course they are unwilling to join. Seat availability will depend on the official stray-round matrix and the choices displayed in the candidate login.

Seat Allotment and Reporting

WBMCC will publish the first online stray-vacancy allotment result after 4 PM on October 17.

Allotted candidates are scheduled to report to the assigned college on October 18, 19, or 20 between 11 AM and 4 PM.

Candidates should download the allotment letter, review the course, college, quota, and reporting instructions, and carry all required original documents and admission fees to the allotted institution.

Conditional Second Stray-Vacancy Phase

WBMCC has also announced a second online stray-vacancy cycle that will operate only if seats remain vacant after the first phase.

Candidates should not assume that the second phase will definitely be conducted. It depends on seats remaining vacant after the first online stray-vacancy phase.
