WBMCC NEET PG counselling fee
The WBMCC information bulletin specifies a ₹3,000 counselling fee, which is generally a one-time, non-refundable payment. Bank transaction charges, where applicable, are additional. Candidates should retain their transaction proof and Candidate Profile Letter after successful payment. S3WaaS
Candidates planning to exercise choices for private medical college seats should also carefully check the security-deposit rules.
For Private College State Quota seats, WBMCC specifies a ₹2 lakh security deposit. For Private Management Quota choices, the stipulated security deposit is ₹5 lakh, subject to the refund, adjustment and forfeiture provisions detailed in the bulletin. S3WaaS
Document verification and Candidate Profile Letter
After successful registration and payment, eligible non-NRI candidates must generate the Candidate Profile Letter. This document displays the candidate's assigned physical verification venue, date, and time slot. S3WaaS
Candidates must report at the assigned venue with their original credentials and one set of self-attested photocopies. WBMCC states that the Candidate Profile Letter itself must also be carried for verification. S3WaaS
According to the Round 1 schedule, physical verification for non-NRI candidates will take place on October 26, 27, 28 and 29, from 11 AM to 4 PM. S3WaaS
The successfully verified candidate list and Round 1 seat matrix are scheduled for publication on October 30 after 2 PM.
Different verification process for NRI candidates
NRI applicants follow a different verification process.
WBMCC's bulletin states that candidates opting for NRI quota seats cannot simultaneously opt for State Quota or Management Quota choices. There is also no pre-choice physical verification for NRI candidates. Their original NRI-related documents are checked at the admission stage after allotment. S3WaaS
Candidates should therefore select the NRI category only after reviewing all required supporting-document conditions. WBMCC warns that inadequate or invalid NRI documents detected after allotment can result in cancellation of candidature. S3WaaS
Choice filling starts October 30
Round 1 choice filling and locking will run from 4 PM on October 30 until midnight on November 1, 2026. S3WaaS
Candidates should arrange choices carefully in their genuine order of preference.
The information bulletin states that choices must first be saved and then locked. Once locked, they cannot be changed. Only locked choices are processed for allotment. If a candidate saves choices but does not manually lock them, the saved choices are automatically locked by the system after the choice-locking deadline. S3WaaS
West Bengal NEET PG Round 1 result on November 4
WBMCC has scheduled publication of the Round 1 allotment result for November 4 after 4 PM. S3WaaS
Allotment is based on the applicable candidate category, eligibility, available choices and inter-se merit under the counselling rules. WBMCC describes the allotment as provisional until the required final verification and admission formalities are completed. S3WaaS
Reporting and admission from November 5
Candidates allotted seats in Round 1 must complete reporting and admission on November 5, 6, 7 or 10 between 10 AM and 4 PM, as applicable. S3WaaS
Candidates should carry original documents and the required college fee.
For candidates allotted seats in private medical colleges, WBMCC states that the admission process will take place at designated government medical colleges in Kolkata. A separate notice identifying the relevant centres is expected to be published on the counselling website. S3WaaS
