  • Click on the candidate login link on the homepage.
  • Enter your application number and password to log in.
  • Go to the seat allotment section on the dashboard.

What Do the Freeze and Float Options Mean?

After your seat is allotted, you need to choose between two options. Each option affects your chances in future rounds.

Freeze: You accept the assigned seat and it becomes final.

You won't be considered for any better seats in later rounds.

Float: You hold onto your current seat as a backup.

You remain eligible for better seats in Round 4.

Round 4 automatically acts as a freeze stage for float candidates.

The system will assign the best available seat to you automatically.

What Happens if You Miss the August 1 Deadline?

If you don't confirm your seat by the deadline, you lose the allotment. The seat will be released for the next round. There is no refund or extension provided by the counselling team.
