According to Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University (ABVMU), the UPGET 2026 registration period will now end at midnight on June 2, 2026. Candidates who are eligible for admission into the GNM course in 2026 can apply online through the official website, abvmuup.edu.in, to join a 3-year GNM program starting in 2026-27. As per the schedule, the UP GNM Entrance Test (UPGET) 2026 will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:20 PM in offline mode at 20 test centers in various cities of Uttar Pradesh, such as Agra, Aligarh, Ayodhya, Azamgarh, Bareilly, Basti, and Banda.

Applicants must be at least 17 years old by December 31, 2026, to be eligible for UPGET 2026. For educational qualifications, they should have passed 10+2 with English from a recognised board and scored a minimum of 40% marks. Candidates who have passed from vocational ANM and healthcare science streams, with a minimum of 40% marks, are also eligible. In addition to these requirements, candidates must be medically fit to pursue a nursing career. When applying for government GNM training institutions, applicants must have a Uttar Pradesh domicile certificate. Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply for the course.
How to Apply for UPGET 2026?
Applicants need to first register on the official website using their email ID and mobile number. During the application process, they should provide their personal information and academic qualifications and select three preferred exam city preferences. An OTP verification will be done through email ID and mobile number. The application fee is ₹3,000 for unreserved and OBC category applicants, while SC/ST and PwD category applicants have to pay ₹2,000. This fee must be paid online during the application process and is non-refundable.
How to Download the UPGET 2026 Admit Card Once It Is Published?

- To download the admit card, candidates need to log in using their registration ID and password.
- It is important for candidates to have a colored admit card to appear for the entrance exam.

UPGET 2026 Examination Pattern and Syllabus
Candidates applying for UPGET 2026 will have to answer 100 objective-type questions in either English or Hindi, as per their choice. The total time for the UPGET 2026 entrance exam will be 140 minutes. Each correct answer will be awarded 1 mark, and there will be no negative marking for wrong answers.

Candidates must reach the exam centre by 9:00 AM, which is two hours before the exam starts. Biometric checks will happen at the entrance, and no one can enter the exam centre after 10:15 AM on the exam day. No books, calculators, cell phones, smart watches, or any other electronic devices are permitted inside the exam hall. Only the admit card for UPGET 2026 and a valid ID, such as an Aadhaar card or voter ID, are allowed. Candidates might also be searched before entering the exam hall. Students taking the UPGET 2026 exam must register by midnight on June 2, 2026. The results will be published on the official website after the exam is held on June 16, 2026. Admission to government and private GNM nursing colleges will start after counselling is completed.
