When Can Qualified Candidates Download the Certificate?
TRB says qualified Tamil Nadu candidates may download the Teacher Eligibility Certificate after five days from their respective dashboards. As the result notice is dated October 12, candidates should check the dashboard from October 17, 2026, while also monitoring TRB for any separate activation notice.
Candidates should not treat October 17 as a separately announced fixed release time because the notice states only that the certificate will be available after five days.
Different Process for Puducherry Candidates
The Puducherry result portal publishes the final key and marks, but the Tamil Nadu TRB notice does not show a Qualified or Not Qualified status for Puducherry candidates.
Teacher Eligibility Certificates for qualified Puducherry candidates will be issued by the Puducherry School Education Department under the process cited in the official notice. Puducherry candidates should therefore follow both the TRB result portal and the Puducherry education department for certificate instructions.
How the Final Key Was Prepared
TRB published the tentative answer key and objection tracker on July 15. Subject experts examined the representations received within the permitted period, after which the final answer key was prepared.
The OMR sheets were evaluated and marks were awarded using this final key. TRB states that the subject experts’ decision on the final answer key is final.
