How to view the TNEA 2026 special-reservation allotment?
Use the steps below to access the provisional allotment letter:
- Go to the TNEA official site: tneaonline.org.
- Choose the sign-in option meant for special-reservation applicants.
- Log in by providing the application number along with the password.
- The temporary allotment letter will be shown on the display.
- Save a downloaded copy of the allotment letter.
How can the allotted seat be confirmed?
Candidates are required to reply to the allotment by selecting one out of six choices. Those choices include confirming the seat now or opting to try for an upgrade later. Every selection affects what happens in the following counseling step. Once the seat is accepted online, candidates must complete physical reporting. They may report either to the college they received or to the closest Tamil Nadu Facilitation Center (TFC). This reporting must occur within five days counted from the allotment date. If the deadline passes without confirmation, the allotment is revoked automatically. After that, the seat is forwarded to the next counseling phase.
Which documents are required to be carried?
Original documents must be brought, along with two photocopy sets. The main items required are:
- Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets plus certificates.
- Printed TNEA 2026 application copy and the rank card.
- Community, nativity, and transfer certificates.
- Evidence for the special-reservation category requested.
- Passport-size photos and valid ID proof.
Applicants under Differently Abled must bring a medical certificate. It needs to be issued by a panel of three doctors. Candidates applying through the sports quota must provide all achievement certificates as originals.
What follows after the special-reservation round?
Unoccupied seats from special-reservation groups are moved back into the common pool. These open seats are then made available in general counseling. The general round starts on July 20, 2026, and continues until August.
