Payment of the Processing Fee

For this, applicants need to go to tgpolycet.nic.in and click on “Payment of Processing Fee". They will have to enter their TGPOLYCET hall ticket number, date of birth, and SSC hall ticket details. They also need to provide their Aadhaar information, a valid mobile number, and email address. The processing fee is INR 300 for SC/ST candidates and INR 600 for everyone else. This fee can be paid online using a credit card, debit card, or net banking.

Slot Booking for Certificate Verification

After successfully paying the processing fee, candidates must book a slot for certificate verification, which is a necessary step in the counselling process. They can choose their preferred Help Line Centre (HLC), date, and time. Candidates who belong to NCC, PHC, CAP, Sports, or Anglo-Indian categories must get their verification done at Government Polytechnic, Masab Tank, Hyderabad.

Documents Needed for Certificate Verification

Candidates are required to bring all original certificates along with two copies for verification. The certificates needed include the TGPOLYCET Rank card, Aadhaar card, SSC Marks Memo, study certificates from Class IV to X, Transfer Certificate (TC), income certificate issued from January 1, 2026, EWS certificate (if applicable), caste certificate, and residence certificate for non-local candidates.

Process for Option Exercise

Once the certificate verification is done, candidates will receive login credentials on their registered mobile numbers. These credentials allow them to access the online option exercise portal and select their preferred colleges or diploma branches. It is advised that candidates should choose as many colleges or branches as possible, as this increases the chances of getting admission into one of them.

Seat Allocation & Reporting

Seat allocation results will be announced by June 6, 2026. Candidates can download their seat allocation order using their ROC number, hall ticket number, password, and date of birth. After getting the seat allocated, they must pay the required admission fee online and complete the self-reporting process online. The candidate needs to personally report to their assigned institute between June 8 and June 9, 2026. If they don’t report on time, they might lose their allocated seat.
