Tamil Nadu NEET PG Counselling 2026 Registration Open; Submit Choices by November 3

Tamil Nadu has opened NEET PG 2026 Round 1 registration and choice filling for postgraduate medical degree and diploma admissions. Eligible candidates must complete registration, payment, and their college preferences by 5 pm on November 3.
The Directorate of Medical Education and Research began the process on October 31. Candidates can access the counselling facility through the Tamil Nadu medical selection website.
Who can participate?
The announced rank ranges cover Government Quota candidates from rank 1 to 7,952 and Management Quota candidates from rank 1 to 3,643.
Candidates applying under both Government and Management quotas can enter preferences for both categories.
Registration fee and security deposit
The registration fee is ₹1,000 and non-refundable. The reported refundable security deposit depends on the seat category:

Check choices before locking
Candidates can revise their preferences before locking them. Once choices are locked, changes to the selected college or course will not be allowed.
Choices left unlocked will be locked automatically when the window closes. Candidates should therefore review their final preference order before the deadline.
The Selection Committee has also advised applicants to keep login credentials and OTPs private.

The allotment-order download deadline and joining deadline are separate. Candidates allotted a seat should complete both steps within their respective windows.
