The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has officially announced the WBJEE Result 2025 today, June 17, 2025. Thousands of aspiring engineers and pharmacists who appeared for the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) 2025, conducted on April 27, 2025, can now access their individual WBJEE Rank Card from the official websites, wbjeeb.nic.in and wbjeeb.in. This declaration is a pivotal moment, marking the culmination of the examination process and the beginning of the Engineering Admission journey for candidates across West Bengal.

The WBJEE Result 2025 is released solely in the form of a downloadable rank card, which includes the candidate's General Merit Rank (GMR) and, for relevant candidates, a Pharmacy Merit Rank (PMR), along with their total score and subject-wise scores. The WBJEEB emphasizes that no physical rank cards will be dispatched. Therefore, all qualified candidates must download and print their WBJEE Rank Card promptly, as it is an indispensable document for the subsequent WBJEE Counselling and admission procedures.

How to Download Your WBJEE 2025 Rank Card

Accessing the WBJEE Rank Card is a simple online process. Candidates need their specific login credentials to retrieve their results.

  • Visit the Official WBJEE Website: Open your web browser and navigate to either wbjeeb.nic.in or wbjeeb.in.
  • Locate the Result Link: On the homepage, look for the direct link that says "WBJEE 2025 Result" or "Download WBJEE 2025 Rank Card."
  • Enter Login Credentials: Click on the result link. You will be redirected to a login portal. Here, you need to enter your WBJEE 2025 Application Number and your Password or Date of Birth (as per the login prompt). Also, enter the security pin displayed on the screen.
  • View and Download Rank Card: After entering the details, click on the "Sign In" or "Submit" button. Your WBJEE Rank Card will be displayed on the screen, showing your ranks, scores in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, and other essential details.
  • Print and Save: Download the WBJEE Rank Card (usually in PDF format) and take multiple printouts for future reference. It is advisable to save a digital copy as well.

Candidates must cross-verify all details mentioned on their WBJEE Rank Card with their application form. In case of any discrepancy in personal details or marks, they should immediately contact the WBJEEB helpline for clarification and rectification.

Details Mentioned on the WBJEE Rank Card 2025

The WBJEE Rank Card is a comprehensive document that provides all the crucial information about a candidate's performance in the entrance examination. Understanding its contents is important for the upcoming counselling process.

  • Candidate's Personal Details: Name, Father's Name, Mother's Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Category (if applicable), Domicile.
  • Application Number and Roll Number: Unique identifiers for the candidate.
  • Subject-wise Scores: Marks obtained in Mathematics (Paper-I) and Physics & Chemistry (Paper-II) separately.
  • Total Score: The aggregate marks obtained by the candidate in the WBJEE 2025 examination.
  • General Merit Rank (GMR): This is the All India Rank based on the candidate's total score, crucial for admission to most engineering and technology courses.
  • Pharmacy Merit Rank (PMR): For candidates aspiring for Pharmacy courses, a separate rank based on Paper-II (Physics & Chemistry) might be provided.
  • Application Category: The category under which the candidate appeared (e.g., General, SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, EWS, PwD, etc.).

It is essential to safeguard the WBJEE Rank Card, as it will be required during every stage of the WBJEE Counselling and admission to participating colleges and universities in West Bengal.

Next Steps: WBJEE 2025 Counselling Process

The declaration of the WBJEE Result 2025 is followed by the centralized online WBJEE Counselling process conducted by the WBJEEB. This multi-stage process will determine seat allocation for Engineering Admission to various government, government-aided, and self-financing engineering & technology colleges, universities, and pharmacy institutes in West Bengal. The counselling schedule is expected to be released shortly after the results.

  • Online Registration and Fee Payment: Qualified candidates must register online on the WBJEEB counselling portal. This involves providing personal and academic details and paying a non-refundable counselling registration fee.
  • Choice Filling and Locking: Candidates will be required to fill in their preferred colleges and courses in order of priority. This is a critical step, as seat allotment is strictly based on the choices submitted and the candidate's rank. Candidates must lock their choices before the deadline; otherwise, the last saved choices will be automatically locked.
  • Seat Allotment: Based on the WBJEE Rank Card, filled choices, category, and seat availability, WBJEEB will conduct rounds of seat allotment. Results will be published online.
  • Provisional Admission & Document Verification: Candidates allotted a seat must download their provisional allotment letter, pay the seat acceptance fee, and report to the designated reporting centers (or the allotted institute directly, as per guidelines) for physical document verification.
  • Final Admission: After successful document verification and payment of the remaining admission fees, candidates' admission to their respective institutes will be confirmed.

The WBJEE Counselling process typically involves multiple rounds, including Round 1, Round 2, and a Mop-Up Round, to ensure maximum seat utilization. Candidates must stay updated on wbjeeb.nic.in for the detailed counselling schedule, fee structure, and a comprehensive list of required documents. Your WBJEE Result 2025 is out – now is the time to prepare diligently for the counselling to secure your desired Engineering Admission.
