The Directorate of Medical Education and Research in Tamil Nadu has officially initiated the online registration and counselling process for NEET PG 2025 admissions. This crucial step is for candidates aspiring to secure a seat in MD, MS, and Diploma courses for the upcoming academic year. The registration window is open until September 16, 2025, and all eligible candidates are advised to complete their applications promptly.

A key highlight of this year's counselling is the clear outline of financial commitments and bond rules. As part of the registration, candidates are required to pay a security deposit of up to Rs 2 lakh. This deposit is a new measure to ensure serious participation and reduce the number of seats that go vacant after the initial rounds. Additionally, the state has implemented a strict penalty clause for students who decide to discontinue their course after joining. The penalty amount ranges from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 15 lakh, a significant deterrent designed to prevent seat wastage and ensure a smooth admission process for all aspirants.

This move underscores the state's commitment to filling every available seat and providing a transparent and efficient admission process. Aspirants are urged to carefully review all the rules and requirements on the official website before proceeding with their application and choice filling. This is a critical period for all medical students, and staying updated with official announcements is vital.
