• Registration and Participation Fee Payment: August 1, 2025 – August 4, 2025 (till 12:00 Midnight)
• Document Verification (for Newly Registered Candidates): August 1, 2025 – August 5, 2025 (till 6:00 PM)
• Choice Filling/Modifications and Locking: August 1, 2025 – August 6, 2025 (till 12:00 Midnight)
• Spot Round Seat Allotment Result: August 8, 2025
• Admission Fee Payment (for Spot Round Allotment): August 8, 2025 – August 10, 2025 (till 12:00 Midnight)
• Physical Reporting at Allotted Institute: August 11, 2025

Eligibility and Participation:

Candidates who secured a valid Common Merit Rank (CMR) in the NIFT 2025 entrance exam are eligible to participate in this Spot Round. This includes those who appeared for the NIFT GAT/CAT, Situation Test, and/or Personal Interview (as applicable to their program) and met the minimum qualifying criteria. Candidates who have already paid the seat acceptance fee and have not withdrawn their admission from previous rounds are exempted from paying the separate Spot Round registration fee of INR 5,000. However, newly registered candidates will need to pay this fee.

While the initial registration requires scanned copies, candidates must have all original documents ready for physical reporting at the allotted institute on August 11, 2025. A comprehensive list typically includes:

• NIFT 2025 Scorecard/Rank Card
• Proof of Date of Birth (10th Class Certificate)
• 10th and 12th Class Mark Sheets and Certificates
• Graduation Mark Sheets and Degree (for PG programs)
• Category Certificate (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS, if applicable, in the prescribed format and issued on or after April 1, 2025, for OBC/EWS)
• PwD Certificate (if applicable)
• Medical Fitness Certificate (in the prescribed format)
• Transfer Certificate/School Leaving Certificate
• Migration Certificate
• Proof of Identity (Aadhaar Card, Passport, etc.)
• Passport-sized Photographs
• Undertakings (Anti-Ragging, etc., as per NIFT guidelines)
• Proof of payment for both participation fee and admission fee.
