Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has commenced the processing of seat allotment for NEET UG 2025 Round 2. This automated process, which began today, will continue for two days, concluding on September 16, 2025. Aspirants are now in a waiting period as the system matches their locked choices with their All India Ranks (AIR) and the updated seat matrix. The processing of seat allotment is a complex technical procedure that leaves no room for manual intervention. The sophisticated algorithm meticulously works to allocate seats in MBBS, BDS, and BSc Nursing courses under the 15% All India Quota, as well as seats in Deemed/Central Universities, ESIC, and AIIMS institutions.

While candidates can do little but wait during this period, it is the perfect time to prepare for the next steps. The official MCC schedule on mcc.nic.in outlines the crucial upcoming dates for Round 2.

Here is the official timeline for aspirants to follow:

  • Round 2 Seat Allotment Result: The result will be declared on September 17, 2025.
  • Reporting to Allotted Colleges: Candidates who are allotted a seat must report to their respective institutions for document verification and admission from September 18 to September 25, 2025.

Candidates must be ready with all original documents and a set of photocopies, including their NEET UG 2025 Admit Card, Allotment Letter, and academic certificates. Failure to report within the stipulated timeline could lead to the forfeiture of the allotted seat and the security deposit.
