According to the official notification on the DME website, Round 2 is now open for new registrations, as well as for previously registered candidates. The DME has released a list of 938 vacant seats, which includes 540 seats for MBBS and 398 seats for BDS courses across the state.

Aspirants must note the following important dates and guidelines for the counselling process:

  • Last Date for Online Application: The final day to apply for fresh registration is September 17, 2025.
  • Choice Filling and Locking Window: The online window for filling and locking choices will remain open until September 18, 2025. It is crucial for candidates to submit their preferences before the deadline.
  • Old Choices are Void: The DME has explicitly stated that the choices submitted by previously registered candidates in Round 1 have become void. Therefore, all candidates who wish to participate in Round 2 must fill and lock their new choices again.

Candidates can apply on the official websites, cgdme.in or cgdme.admissions.nic.in. The DME has also issued a strong caution against fraudulent agents and has advised all aspirants to use only the official portals for all counselling-related activities.
