The MAH MBA CET 2026 application window is currently open on the official CET Cell website. Candidates must complete their registration and fee payment by February 12 to secure their participation in the April or May exam sessions. Ensure Aadhaar and APAAR ID authentication are completed via DigiLocker to avoid last-minute technical delays in the admission process.

The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, has issued a fresh set of reminders for aspirants currently navigating the registration process for the MAH MBA/MMS CET 2026. Since the portal went live on January 10, over 80,000 students have initiated their profiles. However, authorities have noted a high number of incomplete forms due to pending transaction steps. To ensure a smooth transition into the examination phase, the Cell has urged applicants to finalize their fees well before the mid-February cut-off.

Mandatory Digital Authentication and Form Completion

This year’s registration cycle features a significant shift toward digital transparency with the integration of the APAAR ID and Aadhaar-based verification. Candidates are required to link their DigiLocker accounts to the CET portal to authenticate their identity. Officials have emphasized that an application is only considered "submitted" once the digital ID is verified and the final payment is successfully processed.

  • APAAR ID Integration: Mandatory for all students; must be generated or linked via the DigiLocker pop-up on the portal.
  • Aadhaar Authentication: Real-time OTP-based verification is required to confirm the candidate's identity.
  • Document Uploads: Applicants must ensure that scanned copies of their photograph, signature, and graduation marksheets meet the specified pixel and file-size requirements.
  • Profile Verification: Even after the application is filled, students must re-log to confirm that their status has changed to "Completed."

Fee Structure and Online Payment Modes

The State CET Cell has clarified that the processing fee for the 2026 cycle must be paid exclusively through online channels. For the first time, the Cell is offering a tiered payment structure for those wishing to appear in both the April and May exam sessions. It is important to note that the fee is non-refundable, and any duplicate payments made due to server timeouts will be reviewed only after the registration window closes.

  • General Category: ₹1,200 for a single attempt; ₹2,400 for both sessions.
  • Reserved Category (Maharashtra only): ₹1,000 for a single attempt; ₹2,000 for both sessions.
  • Payment Gateways: Candidates can use Credit/Debit cards, Net Banking, UPI, or mobile wallets.
  • Transaction Receipt: After a successful transaction, students are advised to download the PDF receipt and the finalized application form for future CAP (Centralized Admission Process) rounds.

Important Dates and Exam Schedule

The 2026 examination cycle will be conducted in a multi-day, multi-session format to accommodate the growing number of MBA aspirants. The following table outlines the critical deadlines that every applicant must monitor to avoid late-entry penalties.

Conclusion

The ongoing registration phase is a critical first step for those seeking admission to top management institutes like JBIMS, SIMSREE, and PUMBA. With the introduction of the dual-session examination model, students have more flexibility but must remain diligent regarding administrative deadlines. The State CET Cell continues to monitor the portal for traffic spikes and has advised candidates to complete their final fee payment during off-peak hours to ensure a successful transaction and a stress-free start to their MBA journey.
