This is an urgent and final reminder for all qualified candidates of the Telangana State Common Post Graduate Entrance Test (TS CPGET) 2025: Today, November 4, 2025, is the absolute last day to exercise or submit your Web Options for the final phase of admissions into various Postgraduate (PG) courses.

Today, November 4, 2025, is the absolute last day to exercise or submit your Web Options for the final phase of admissions into various Postgraduate (PG) courses. Aspirants who have successfully completed the certificate verification process for this final phase must log in immediately to the official portal to finalize their course and college preferences.

The Common Post Graduate Entrance Test (CPGET), conducted by Osmania University on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TGCHE), is the gateway to PG courses in Universities like Osmania, Kakatiya, Telangana, Mahatma Gandhi, Palamuru, Satavahana, and Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University (JNAFAU). With the window for web options closing at the end of today, this marks the final chance to compete for the remaining seats in the academic year 2025-26.

Understanding the Significance of Web Options

The Web Options phase is arguably the most crucial step in the counselling process. This is where candidates officially inform the admission committee of their preferred colleges and courses, ranked in descending order of priority. The seat allotment is based on three primary factors: the candidate's rank in the CPGET exam, the reservation category they belong to, and the order of preferences entered during the web options process.

Candidates are strongly advised to select the maximum number of courses and colleges available to them to maximize their chances of securing a seat. Neglecting to enter options or submitting an insufficient list may result in no seat being allotted, even if a candidate has a good rank. Since this is the final phase, seats are limited and competition will be high.

Key Steps and Upcoming Dates

Aspirants must ensure they have done the following steps before the deadline:

  1. Log in: Use your CPGET Hall Ticket Number, Rank, and Password on the official TS CPGET admissions portal.
  2. Select Preferences: Carefully select your desired course and college combinations, arranging them in the strict order of your preference. Prioritize the colleges/courses you genuinely want.
  3. Save and Freeze: After confirming your choices, save the preferences. Although today is the last day to submit the initial options, the portal has scheduled a dedicated window for Editing of Web Options tomorrow, November 5, 2025. Candidates should utilize this one-day window to make any last-minute modifications or corrections to their list.

Following the closure of the web options and the editing window, the next critical date is the Provisional Seat Allotment for the final phase, which will be displayed on November 9, 2025. Shortlisted candidates must then complete the payment of the required tuition fee and self-reporting online, followed by physically reporting to the allotted college on or before November 11, 2025, to secure their admission.
