Key Application Details
1. Application Process The application process is conducted entirely online on the official AIIMS website: https://www.aiims.edu/. The process involves:
- One-Time Registration (OTR): Registering basic personal details.
- Application Form Filling: Providing educational qualifications, internship details, and selecting the examination city.
- Uploading Documents: Uploading a passport-size photo, signature, and left-hand thumb impression as per the specified format. Reserved category candidates must also upload valid certificates.
- Fee Payment: Paying the application fee online.
2. Eligibility Criteria To be eligible, candidates must:
- Possess an MBBS/BDS degree from a recognized University/Institute.
- Have completed or be completing the mandated 12-month compulsory rotatory internship on or before November 30, 2025.
- Be registered with the National Medical Commission (NMC)/Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council (SMC).
3. Application Fee The fee varies by category:
- General/OBC/Foreign National/OCI applicants: ₹4,000
- SC/ST/EWS applicants: ₹3,200
- Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) are exempted from the fee.
4. Reserved Category Certificate Validity Aspirants should pay close attention to the validity period for category certificates:
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) certificates must be valid for the financial year 2025-26.
- EWS (Economically Weaker Section) certificates must be valid for the financial year 2025-26 and issued within the specified dates.
