BCECEB has opened Round 1 registration for AYUSH (BAMS, BHMS, BUMS) admissions 2025 based on NEET UG scores. Apply by Sept 29, lock your choices, and pay the fee. Visit: https://bceceboard.bihar.gov.in/

The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has initiated the much-awaited counselling process for admission into various undergraduate AYUSH courses for the academic year 2025. This first round, titled UGMAC (Ayush)-2025, is a crucial step for all aspirants seeking admission to Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS), Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS), and Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery (BUMS) programs in government and private AYUSH colleges across Bihar.

The admission process is strictly governed by the merit list of the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2025 exam, prepared by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Only candidates who have qualified for the NEET UG exam and meet the state’s eligibility criteria are eligible to apply and participate in this centralized counselling.

Critical Dates and the Online Application Process

Aspirants must note the very tight deadline for this crucial first round. The online registration and choice-filling process commenced on September 23, 2025, and will conclude sharply on September 29, 2025, at 10:00 PM. Missing this deadline means forfeiting the opportunity to participate in the first round of seat allotment.

The entire application process is conducted through the official BCECEB portal under the UGMAC (Ayush)-2025 link. Candidates should follow these key steps meticulously to ensure their application is valid:

  1. Initial Registration: Candidates must register using their NEET UG 2025 Roll Number, Application Number, and personal details to generate a unique counselling registration ID.
  2. Form Filling and Uploads: Complete the detailed application form with academic records, reservation category details, and NEET scores. Crucially, applicants must upload their photograph, signature, and all required certificates as per the prescribed specifications.
  3. Fee Payment: The counselling fee must be paid online. The application will not be considered complete until the payment is successfully processed.
  4. Choice Filling and Locking: This is arguably the most critical step. Candidates must carefully select their preferred AYUSH courses (BAMS, BHMS, BUMS) and the list of colleges in descending order of preference. Once satisfied, aspirants must lock their choices before the final deadline. Unlocked choices are not processed for seat allotment.

Mandatory Note for Disability Quota (DQ) Candidates

A special instruction has been issued for candidates applying under the Disability Quota (DQ). These candidates are required to submit a Disability Certificate that has been issued only by an authorised Centre/Institute on the prescribed proforma. The process involves:

  1. Filling and downloading the hard copy of the online application form.
  2. Consulting any concerned authorised Medical College/Centre/Institute with the downloaded application form for the mandated disability test.

Final admission will be confirmed only after the online application, fee submission, and physical attendance at the counselling with original documents and their photocopies for verification. Aspirants must print and retain copies of the application form and the choice sheet for future reference and verification purposes.

The BCECEB plays a vital role in regulating the admission process to ensure fairness and transparency. For regular updates on the allotment status and next round notifications, follow Only Education News or visit: Medical Exams List
