The reporting period has been officially scheduled from August 9 to August 18, 2025, between 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM (excluding Sundays and holidays, and up to 2:00 PM on Saturdays). This extended window is designed to ensure a smooth and orderly admission process, allowing candidates ample time to complete all formalities. Candidates are required to report at the Academic Section, Undergraduate Cell, AIIMS, New Delhi, to begin the process.

Candidates must report with a complete set of original documents and a set of photocopies. The original certificates will be retained by the institution and will not be returned before the completion of the course.
Mandatory Document Checklist
Candidates must be prepared with the following documents for the initial verification process. This checklist is exhaustive, and any missing document could lead to complications in the admission process.
- Exam & Counselling Documents:
- Provisional Seat Allotment Letter from MCC.
- NEET/NTA Scorecard and Admit Card (original prints).
- Five recent passport-size photographs.
- Valid photo identity proof (Aadhar Card, Passport, etc.).
- Eligibility & Academic Documents:
- Class 10 and 12 Marksheets and Passing Certificates.
- Migration Certificate from the last attended University/Board.
- Date of Birth Certificate.
- Category-Specific Certificates:
- SC/ST Certificate (if applicable), clearly mentioning the community.
- OBC Certificate (if applicable) in the prescribed format, ensuring the sub-caste is in the central list and the candidate is not in the creamy layer. The certificate must be issued on or after April 1, 2024.
- EWS Certificate (if applicable), issued on or after April 1, 2024.
- Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) Certificate (if applicable), from a prescribed authority.
Fees and Medical Examination
After successful document verification, candidates will undergo a mandatory medical examination on August 19. Upon being declared medically fit, they will be required to pay the academic fees as outlined in the official prospectus. This will be followed by hostel accommodation and fee payment on August 20.
The fee structure for AIIMS, Delhi is notably subsidized. While fees can vary slightly, the total annual academic and hostel fees for the MBBS program are very low compared to other medical colleges. The total academic fee is approximately ₹1,628, while hostel and other fees amount to around ₹4,228. These payments must be made in cash, as cheques or drafts are not accepted.
The Orientation Program: A New Beginning
A key part of the new instructions is the mandatory orientation program. This is a multi-day event designed to help new students acclimate to the rigorous academic and social environment of AIIMS.
- General Orientation: A general orientation program on August 21 will include an address from the Director, Dean of Academics, and other faculty members, providing an overview of the institute's expectations and culture.
- CREST Programme: Following this, a six-day in-house "CREST" (Centre for Research and Education for Social Transformation) program is scheduled from August 22 to August 27. This workshop aims to improve the social skills and confidence of the new MBBS students.
Regular classes for the 2025 batch will commence from August 28, 2025. This entire process is designed to ensure that the new students are fully prepared and integrated into the AIIMS community, starting their medical education on the right foot.
