The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Bhopal, has set December 12, 2025, as the absolute last day for candidates allotted seats in MP NEET PG 2025 Round 1 to report to their respective colleges. This is a critical deadline for all aspiring post-graduate medical students who have secured a seat in the first round of state-level counselling for MD/MS courses. Failing to report and complete the admission formalities by the stipulated time will result in the forfeiture of the allotted seat. Ensure all documents and necessary fees are ready for physical verification and admission confirmation.

Today, December 12, 2025, marks the final day for all candidates who secured a seat in the MP NEET PG 2025 Round 1 Counselling to physically report to their allotted medical/dental colleges. The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Bhopal, has been rigorous with its schedule, and this deadline is non-negotiable for securing the confirmed seat for MD/MS courses in government and private institutions across the state. Aspirants are strongly advised to complete the remaining admission and document verification process well before the closing time on the official DME portal, which is typically 6:00 PM. Missing this critical window could cost you a year of your medical career. Key Reporting and Admission Formalities

This step-by-step process is crucial for officially converting your provisional seat allotment into a confirmed admission. Candidates must arrive at the allotted institution with all required documentation and fees. The college authorities will conduct a thorough physical verification of all original documents against the online application details.

  • Physical Presence is Mandatory: All candidates must report in person to the college for document verification and fee submission. Proxies or remote submissions are not permitted as per the standard counselling procedure.
  • Final Document Verification: Ensure you have the Provisional Allotment Letter downloaded from the DME portal, along with all original academic and personal documents. Any mismatch or missing document can lead to the cancellation of the allotted seat.
  • Fee Payment: The requisite admission fee (tuition fee and other charges) must be paid to the allotted institution, often via Demand Draft (DD) or through the specified online payment gateway provided by the college. Candidates should confirm the exact fee structure and payment methods beforehand.

 Mandatory Documents for Submission

A comprehensive and organized set of documents is the backbone of the admission process. Preparing these well in advance eliminates last-minute stress. Candidates must carry both the originals and a minimum of two sets of self-attested photocopies of the following:

  • NEET PG 2025 Essentials:
    • NEET PG 2025 Admit Card.
    • NEET PG 2025 Scorecard/Result.
  • Academic and Registration Proofs:
    • MBBS/BDS Degree Certificate.
    • Mark sheets of all MBBS/BDS professional examinations.
    • Compulsory Rotatory Internship Completion Certificate.
    • Permanent/Provisional Registration Certificate issued by MCI/State Medical Council (SMC).
  • Personal and Category Proofs:
    • Copy of MP NEET PG 2025 Application Form/Confirmation Page.
    • Date of Birth Proof (usually Class 10/Matriculation Certificate).
    • Domicile Certificate of Madhya Pradesh.
    • Caste Certificate (if applicable), PwD Certificate (if applicable).
    • Valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar Card, Passport, etc.).

Understanding the Upgradation and Resignation Option

The deadline today also applies to candidates exercising the crucial options for future rounds. Your decision at the time of reporting will dictate your eligibility for Round 2.

  • Upgradation Option (Float): Candidates who are satisfied with the current seat but wish to participate in Round 2 for a better college/course must choose the 'Upgradation' (or 'Float') option at the time of admission. This requires the candidate to report, submit documents, and pay the fee. The current seat is secured while they are considered for a better one in the next round.
  • Resignation/Cancellation: Candidates who wish to resign their Round 1 seat without penalty (seat-leaving bond) and remain eligible for Round 2 must process their online resignation through the college/DME portal before the deadline. It is vital to note that this window is time-bound and designed to allow aspirants a clean exit. Candidates resigning after this period may face penalties or ineligibility for subsequent rounds.
  • New Procedural Update: DME MP has introduced a major change: candidates seeking upgradation in Round 2 or the Mop-Up round are generally not required to submit the rural service bond or seat-leaving bond during Round 1 admission. Instead, a notarised affidavit on an appropriate stamp paper declaring commitment to furnish the bond later, if not upgraded, is required. Candidates must strictly adhere to the specific instructions provided in the official counselling notice.

Today is the culmination of years of hard work. Do not let logistics derail your dream of becoming a postgraduate medical specialist. Confirm your admission today by reporting to your allotted college before the DME’s strict deadline!
