When Is the NOU MCA Admission Test 2026?
The NOU MCA Admission Test 2026 is scheduled for September 25 and 26, 2026. Candidates should check their admit card carefully because the document will contain the examination-related details applicable to the individual candidate. The university's official website currently lists MCA-related 2026 examination notices and student updates, making the NOU portal the primary source for candidates. Candidates should reach the examination centre according to the reporting time mentioned on their admit card.
Who Is Eligible for the NOU MCA Admission Test?
According to NOU's published MCA entrance-test eligibility information, Indian candidates can appear for the MCA entrance test if they have completed a BCA, a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, B.Tech, or a bachelor's degree such as BSc, BCom or BA with Mathematics at the 10+2 or graduation level. The university's MCA material therefore provides multiple academic routes for candidates seeking admission to the programme. Candidates should nevertheless check the 2026-27 admission notice for the final eligibility conditions applicable to the current session.
NOU MCA Admission Test Pattern
NOU's published MCA Common Entrance Test information describes the examination as a single paper containing 100 multiple-choice questions divided into four sections. The test duration is 120 minutes.
| Section | Questions |
|---|---|
| Mathematics | 25 |
| Computer Awareness | 25 |
| Analytical Thinking and Logical Reasoning | 25 |
| English Communication | 25 |
| Total | 100 |
The published test information states that each question carries two marks, making the examination 200 marks, and specifies no negative marking. Important: Since the available official pattern document is not clearly identified as the 2026-27 notice, candidates should verify these details against the latest 2026 examination notice or admit card before relying on them for preparation.
