The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Mohali, has opened Round 2 counselling registration for NIPER JEE 2026 today, July 16, giving candidates seeking postgraduate pharmacy admissions another shot at securing a seat. The online choice-filling facility is live at niperadmissions.aptonline.in.
Who Gets to Apply in Round 2
Round 2 isn't open to every NIPER JEE 2026 candidate by default — it's specifically aimed at widening the pool as seats remain vacant after Round 1. Candidates with ranks beyond 2000 are eligible to participate in this and further online counselling rounds, provided seats are still available in their preferred programs.
From Web Options to Seat: The Round 2 Timeline
Once web options are submitted, candidates face a fast-moving sequence of deadlines, each tied directly to the previous step:
| Stage | Date |
|---|---|
| Round 2 Web Options Window Opens | July 16, 2026 |
| Round 2 Seat Allotment Result | July 17 – July 18, 2026 |
| Provisional Allotment Letter Download | July 19 – July 20, 2026 |
Candidates who are allotted a seat will also need to pay their admission fee promptly to confirm it — the counselling process does not treat allotment as final until payment is completed.
Documents to Keep Ready Before Counselling
Given how tight the turnaround is between allotment and confirmation, candidates are better off assembling their document set now rather than after seeing their result. NIPER JEE counselling requires the following:
- NIPER JEE 2026 application form
- NIPER JEE 2026 admit card
- NIPER JEE 2026 rank card (not required for MBA (Pharm) and PhD candidates)
- Class 10 certificate
- Graduation / Post-Graduation certificate or marksheet (if awarded)
- UG/PG marksheets up to the 7th semester (if still appearing)
- Valid GPAT/GATE/NET scorecard
- Aadhaar Card or other valid ID
- Category certificate
- Medical fitness certificate
- Sponsorship Certificate (if applicable)
Where to Register
Candidates can access the Round 2 counselling portal directly here: NIPER JEE 2026 Counselling Registration Link
With allotment results due in as little as 24 hours after the web options process, candidates are advised to submit their preferences promptly and keep all required documents scanned and ready for the verification and fee payment steps that follow.
