What to Check After Downloading
Check your name and other personal details carefully. If you find a mistake, contact your concerned NIOS Regional Centre before the exam.
Then match the subject codes on the hall ticket with the official date sheet to confirm your paper dates and timings. Papers do not all have the same duration, so check the duration for each subject in the timetable. Also look up your exam centre address and plan your route in advance.
Theory Hall Ticket Is Different from the Practical Admit Card
NIOS released the practical admit card for the October session on 9 September 2026. The theory hall ticket has been released separately. Students appearing for theory papers must download the new one.
What to Carry on Exam Day
The hall ticket is mandatory for every exam day. Students without it will not be allowed into the exam hall. Keep it safe, and carry the required documents along with it [VERIFY specific ID requirements from the official notice].
What Happens Next
Theory exams start on 22 October 2026. Students should check whether they have a paper on the first day. They should also follow official NIOS notices for any updates on examination arrangements. The result is expected in December 2026.
