Candidates who have paid the fee can edit certain details from November 20 to 23, 2026. Name, email address, Aadhaar details, and mobile number cannot be changed. A separate window from November 28 to December 2, 2026 is for correcting photographs, signatures, and thumb impressions.
Why NEET SS Matters
Under Section 61(2) of the National Medical Commission Act, 2019, NEET SS is the single qualifying-cum-ranking exam for DM, MCh and DrNB admissions. No state-level or institutional entrance test is valid for seats covered by it.
Institutes That Hold Their Own Entrance Processes
Five institutions are outside centralised admission through NEET SS and run separate processes:
- AIIMS, New Delhi (and other AIIMS institutions)
- PGIMER, Chandigarh
- JIPMER, Puducherry
- NIMHANS, Bengaluru
- Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram
Aspirants targeting these should follow each institute’s own admission notification.
What Happens Next
Registered candidates should watch for the city slip on November 30 and download the admit card on December 7. The result is due by January 12, 2027. Counselling details are not part of this notification; check official announcements. [VERIFY]
