NEET PG Edit Window 2026 Active: Correction Deadline July 28 at natboard.edu.in

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has activated the NEET PG 2026 application form correction window from July 25, 2026, on its official website, natboard.edu.in. Registered candidates who have already submitted their National Eligibility cum Entrance Examination (NEET) PG application form can now make changes, but only until the deadline of July 28, 2026. Candidates should note that not all fields in the application form are open for editing, and any changes made should be verified carefully before final submission, since this correction opportunity will not be repeated after the deadline.

How to Edit the NEET PG 2026 Application Form

Candidates who need to correct details in their application can do so by following these steps:

1. Open the NEET PG form correction link on the official portal
2. Select the examination and click on NEET-PG
3. Click on the Application link
4. Click on the Edit Window link
5. Enter the user ID and password to log in
6. Make the required edits to the form
7. Recheck all fields carefully before submitting the form finally

What Cannot Be Changed

Candidates are not permitted to alter their Aadhaar card details during this correction window. Anyone who entered incorrect Aadhaar information at the time of registration should be aware that this could cause complications later during the verification stage, since it cannot be fixed now. It's also worth noting that this window is meant strictly for correcting details in an already-submitted form — no new registrations are being accepted, as the NEET PG 2026 registration process closed earlier.

No Fee for Form Correction

NBEMS has not levied any fee for the standard NEET PG form correction process. However, if certain specific fields require an additional payment for correction, candidates will need to complete that payment online before the last date to ensure their changes go through.

What Happens After July 28

Once the general correction window closes, NBEMS will open a separate selective edit window that will allow candidates to specifically update their photograph or other images uploaded in the application. This image correction facility will remain open until August 10, 2026, giving candidates a slightly longer runway to fix any issues related specifically to uploaded images.

Key Details to Remember

The NEET PG 2026 application form was originally available for submission from July 1 to July 21, 2026, on natboard.edu.in, during which candidates were required to check their eligibility and follow the prescribed instructions before filling out the form. With the correction window now active, only candidates who successfully submitted their form during that period are eligible to make edits — and even then, complete or wholesale changes to the form are not allowed.

Since July 28, 2026, is the final opportunity to correct the NEET PG 2026 application form, candidates are strongly advised to log in at the earliest, review every section of their submitted form thoroughly, and make necessary corrections well before the deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues on the portal.
