What Does the NCET 2026 Scorecard Include?

The NCET 2026 scorecard is a key document for ITEP counselling and admission. It includes the following information:

  • The candidate's name and photo
  • Application number and roll number
  • Marks for each section
  • Total NTA score
  • Whether the candidate has qualified
  • All India Rank

Who Conducts NCET and Why Is It Important?

The National Common Entrance Test (NCET) is a national-level entrance exam held once a year by the National Testing Agency (NTA). It is the common way to get into the 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) at participating colleges. The ITEP was started under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 as a dual-degree programme. It combines a bachelor's degree in a chosen subject with a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.). This programme is for students who want to become teachers after Class 12 and offers an alternative to the previous two-year B.Ed. route.

Action Plan for Candidates

Candidates who took the NCET 2026 should do the following:

  • Go to exams.nta.nic.in/ncet and download the scorecard.
  • Check the personal details, section-wise marks, and qualification status carefully.
  • Save the scorecard and make at least two printed copies.
  • Keep an eye on the official websites of the participating universities for counselling updates.
  • Have Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets, category certificate, and valid ID documents ready for admission.
