The State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET Cell), Maharashtra has released the MHT CET 2026 Centralised Admission Process (CAP) Round 4 provisional seat allotment.

The State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET Cell), Maharashtra has released the MHT CET 2026 Centralised Admission Process (CAP) Round 4 provisional seat allotment. The results were declared on September 3, 2026. Candidates can check their allotment status through the official CAP portal at fe2026.mahacet.org. The allotment covers seats for engineering and pharmacy courses offered by participating institutes across Maharashtra. Round 4 is the final CAP admission round for the 2026 academic year. Candidates who have received a seat allotment must complete the online seat acceptance process from September 4 to 7, 2026. Physical reporting at the allotted institute must also be completed by September 7, 2026.

How to Check MHT CET CAP Round 4 Allotment Status?

Candidates can check their allotment status only through the official CAP portal by following these steps:

  1. Visit the official portal at fe2026.mahacet.org.
  2. Navigate to the CAP Round 4 allotment status section.
  3. Enter your application number and password.
  4. View the MHT CET CAP Round 4 allotment letter displayed on the screen.
  5. Download or save the allotment letter for future reference.

Candidates can also check the institute-wise allotment list on the portal. The Maharashtra State and All India cut-off lists are also available.

How to Accept the Allotted Seat?

Candidates who have received an allotment must complete the following two steps:

Step 1: Complete Online Seat Acceptance

Candidates must complete their self-verification on the CAP portal and submit their online seat acceptance within the prescribed deadline.

Step 2: Report to the Allotted Institute

After completing the online process, candidates must physically report to the allotted institute to complete the remaining admission formalities. Candidates should submit the required documents and tuition fee to the institute during the admission process.

What Happens After MHT CET CAP Round 4?

Since Round 4 is the final CAP allotment round, candidates who did not receive a seat through CAP can explore admission through the Institute Level process. The Institute Level option-filling forms will be available until September 7, 2026.

  1. Login to the official CAP portal and check or download the allotment letter.
  2. Complete the self-verification process without delay.
  3. Submit the online seat acceptance between September 4 and 7, 2026.
  4. Prepare all required original documents for physical reporting.
