MH BSc Nursing CAP Round 1 Choice Filling Ends Today; Seat Allotment Result on September 15
Published 14 Sept 20264 min read
The window to submit and lock college preferences under Maharashtra's BSc Nursing Centralised Admission Process (CAP) Round 1 closes today, September 14, 2026, at 5:30 PM. Candidates who feature on the CAP merit list must finalise their choices before this deadline — the State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Maharashtra, will automatically lock all unsubmitted preferences once the window shuts, and the Round 1 seat allotment result is scheduled for September 15, 2026.
Choice Filling Deadline Today
Candidates who registered for MH BSc Nursing CAP 2026 and appear on the final merit list can log in to the official portal to arrange their college and course preferences in order of priority. Preferences left unlocked at 5:30 PM today will be auto-locked by the system in whatever state they were left, so candidates are advised to review their order carefully and lock choices well before the cutoff rather than waiting until the last few minutes.

What Happens After Choice Filling Closes
Once the window closes, the State CET Cell will process the locked preferences against each candidate's merit rank and the seats available in the published seat matrix to generate the Round 1 allotment list on September 15, 2026. Candidates will be able to check their allotment status by logging in to the CAP portal with their registered credentials.
Physical Reporting and Document Joining (Sept 16–20)
Candidates allotted a seat in Round 1 must report in person to their allotted college between September 16 and September 20, 2026, up to 5:30 PM, carrying original documents and the requisite fee, to confirm admission. Missing this reporting window typically forfeits the allotted seat, so candidates should keep originals and photocopies of eligibility documents ready in advance rather than assembling them after the result is out.
What's Next: CAP Round 2
Candidates not allotted a seat in Round 1, or those who wish to try for a different preference, get another opportunity in CAP Round 2. Based on the CAP schedule notified by the State CET Cell, the Round 2 seat matrix is expected on September 21, 2026, with choice filling from September 21–23, Round 2 allotment on September 24, and physical joining from September 25–29, 2026. Candidates should confirm these dates on the official portal closer to the date, since counselling timelines can shift.

FAQPage schema note: Google currently displays the visual FAQ rich result mainly for well-established government and health authority sites; for a general education-news article, FAQPage markup is unlikely to produce a rich-result card. It can still be added for machine-readability/AI-answer purposes, but it should not be relied on for a SERP visual feature.
