It includes candidates who were selected based on the MGUG Combined Entrance Test (CET) 2026. Candidates who are shortlisted now need to complete document verification and confirm their admission. This process starts on June 5, 2026, and ends on June 6, 2026. The university will publish the second merit list on June 6, 2026. MGUG conducts the CET annually to fill up seats for undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs. The CET helps in selecting students for various fields such as nursing, pharmacy, agriculture, management, and life sciences.

The MGUG CET 2026 merit list determines admissions across several streams. Candidates can find their assigned programme next to their roll number.

• Nursing: B.Sc.
• Nursing, GNM, ANM, and M.Sc. Nursing
• Pharmacy: D.Pharm, B.Pharm, and MBA Pharmaceutical Management
• Allied health: Optometry, Forensic Science, and Medical Laboratory Science
• Life sciences: Biotechnology, Biochemistry, and Microbiology at undergraduate and postgraduate levels
• Agriculture: B.Sc.
• Agriculture (Hons) and MBA Agribusiness
• Management and IT: BBA, BCA, MBA, and MCA
• Doctoral: PhD in Biotechnology, Pharmacy, Agriculture, Commerce, and Ayurveda

Admissions for MBBS and BAMS follow the NEET-UG process and have their own schedule.

How to Check the MGUG Merit List 1 2026?

• Go to the official MGUG website at mgug.ac.in.
• Click on the Examination tab at the top menu.
• Select the Results option from the dropdown menu.
• Open the MGUG CET 2026 Merit List link.
• Search for your roll number and rank in the PDF. 
• Note the program assigned to you and download a copy.

What Documents Are Needed for Verification?

Candidates must bring the original documents along with self-attested copies of each certificate. If any document is missing or unclear, the admission might be canceled during verification.

1. Class 10 marksheet and passing certificate
2. Class 12 marksheet and passing certificate
3. Qualifying degree marksheet for PG and PhD applicants
4. MGUG CET 2026 admit card and scorecard
5. Aadhaar card or another government-issued photo ID
6. Category certificate, if applicable for reservatio
7. Migratory certificate from the previous institution
8. Character certificate issued within the last six months
9. Four recent passport-sized color photographs

How to Confirm Admission at MGUG? 

Shortlisted candidates should visit the MGUG campus during the two-day verification period. Document checks will take place at the relevant counter in the admission block. Candidates then need to pay the program fee online to secure their seat. The admission guidelines say that if the fee is not paid during counseling, the seat will be canceled. The portal allows payment through net banking, debit card, credit card, and UPI.
