Online applications for postgraduate courses at Maharshi Dayanand University in Rohtak have started for the academic year 2026-27. Students who wish to apply can do so from May 21 to June 10, 2026, through the university’s official website, mdu.ac.in. The university is offering a variety of courses, including postgraduate programs, a 3-year LLB (Hons), B.P.Ed, employability enhancement certificate courses, and PG diploma courses aligned with the NEP-2020 framework. The entrance exams for these courses are scheduled to take place from July 13 to 17, 2026. Interested candidates can visit the official website mdu.ac.in and click on the "PG Admission 2026-27" link.
They need to follow the new registration steps and enter their personal details like email address and phone number. They should also submit all required documents, create their login credentials, and complete the admission application form. The last date to apply is June 10, 2026, for Indian citizens and July 15, 2026, for foreign students. 

MDS University offers various postgraduate courses in fields like arts, science, commerce, and professional studies. In addition to regular PG programmes, MDU also provides the following courses: 3-Year LLB (Hons), B.P.Ed., M.P.Ed., Employability Enhancement Certificate Courses, PG Diploma programmes under NEP 2020, and 2-year DTISL/DISLI programmes. The entrance exam for MDU postgraduate admissions will be conducted from July 13 to July 17, 2026. The admit card can be downloaded starting from June 28 and June 29, 2026. Students applying for B.P.Ed. and M.P.Ed. programmes must also take the Physical Efficiency Test, which will be held on July 2 and July 3, 2026. The results of the entrance exam will be announced on July 20, 2026, followed by the release of the merit list on July 21, 2026. Final admission will be based on the merit list and entrance exam performance.

Counselling for selected candidates will start on July 23, 2026. Additional rounds of counselling will be held on July 28, August 3, and August 12, 2026. Shortlisted applicants are required to pay their fees within the given time. Any remaining seats will be filled through open counselling at the MDU campus. Applicants are advised to apply through the university's official website and ensure that all details in their application are correct. They must upload scanned copies of required documents, download the admit card on time, carry all necessary documents during counselling, and check the university website regularly for updates. Candidates who miss the application deadline will not be eligible for admission.
