MCC NEET UG 2026: Stray-Round Choices Open Until 12:30 PM on 17 October

The Medical Counselling Committee’s current UG counselling notice says choice filling and choice locking will remain available until 12:30 PM on 17 October 2026. Eligible candidates should check their saved preferences and complete the required locking process before this cutoff.

What has changed?

The latest notice on the official MCC UG page gives the new choice deadline. The older linked schedule still shows 16 October for this activity, so candidates should not rely on a saved copy of that earlier timetable alone. This update concerns choices and locking. It does not announce a fresh registration or payment window.

What comes next?

The linked stray-round schedule lists the result for 19 October and reporting from 19 to 26 October 2026. Continue checking MCC for amendments; a scheduled result date does not mean the allotment has been released.

Before finalising, review the college, course and order of preferences. Save the submitted or locked-choice record. If the portal returns an error, retain a screenshot with the time and use the help options on MCC’s official website; an error does not automatically extend the deadline.
