The Maharashtra State Council of Examination (MSCE), Pune, is all set to end the online application portal for MAHA TET 2026 on Sunday, April 16. This is the last date for registering on the online portal for candidates who want to take part in the Maharashtra Teacher Eligibility Test.
The registration process was opened on March 27, and since then, thousands of applications have been made. However, with the deadline approaching, candidates have started to wonder whether the date would be extended. There is no such information available at this moment; hence, candidates must apply within time.
The date of the MAHA TET test 2026 has been fixed on June 21, 2026. Candidates appearing for Paper 1 (classes 1 to 5) should attend the test from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM. On the other hand, those attending paper 2 (class 6 to 8) will be held from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM.
It is suggested that before applying, candidates check all eligibility criteria to make sure whether they qualify for it or not. Correctly filling the form is crucial because otherwise the candidate won’t get the chance to attend the exam.
MAHA TET 2026 Application Procedure
The process of applying is straightforward and can be done online as follows:
- Go to www.mahatet.in
- Click on the new registration link
- Fill in the basic details such as name, date of birth, phone number, and email address
- Submit the details and keep track of your registration ID and password
- Log in and fill the application form
- Upload a photograph and signature
- Recheck the form if necessary
- Make payment and submit
Details of Application Fees
- For the general category, OBC, EWS, and alike candidates: Rs 1000 (single paper) and Rs 1200 (for two papers)
- For SC/ST and disabled applicants: Rs 700 (single paper), Rs 900 (two papers)
As the final date is today, it is recommended that applicants do not postpone their application till the last moment.
