MAH MBA CAP 2026 Round 4: Provisional Vacant Seat List Out; Option Form Till Aug 31

The Maharashtra State CET Cell has released the provisional vacant seat list for Round 4 of the MAH CET MBA/MMS Centralized Admission Process (CAP) 2026. This is the final round of the counselling cycle, and candidates who were left without a preferred seat in Round 3, or who opted for betterment, must now act quickly to secure admission before the process closes.

Key Highlights

Who Needs to Fill the Confirmation Form

Candidates in either of the following categories must submit the confirmation of option form between August 29 and 31:

• Those not allotted a college of their preference in Round 3
• Those who had opted for the betterment option after Round 3

Once the option form is submitted, the CET Cell will process Round 4 allotment based on vacant seats, merit, and the choices filled by candidates.

Round 4: The Final Round

This year's Round 4 is the last round of MAH MBA CAP 2026 — no further seat allotment will take place after this cycle concludes. Candidates who are allotted a seat in this round must:

1. Accept the offer online within the specified deadline.
2. Visit the allotted college the next day to complete admission formalities.
3. Pay the seat acceptance fee of Rs 1,000 as part of the confirmation process.

Candidates who miss this final window risk losing their chance at a seat through the centralised process for the current admission cycle.

How to Fill the Confirmation of Option Form

Candidates can complete the confirmation process by following these steps:

1. Visit the official portal at cetcell.mahacet.org/cap-_2026-27/.
2. Click on the MBA/MMS tab.
3. Navigate to the Provisional List Round 4 section.
4. Log in using your application ID and password.
5. Open the Confirmation Option Form.
6. Enter the required details and click Submit.

Candidates are advised to keep their login credentials and admission-related documents ready before starting the process, and to complete the form well before the August 31 deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues.

What Happens Next

Once the confirmation window closes, the CET Cell will process the final round of seat allotment, with results scheduled for September 3, 2026. Given that MAH CET 2026 counselling has already accommodated over 1 lakh MBA/MMS aspirants across previous rounds, Round 4 offers a crucial last opportunity for remaining candidates to secure admission to participating institutes across Maharashtra.

Candidates are advised to regularly check cetcell.mahacet.org for further updates on seat allotment results, admission confirmation deadlines, and reporting instructions for Round 4.
