MAH BBA CET 2026 Counselling Registration Closes Today: Last Chance to Fill CAP Form Before 5 PM

Candidates eyeing a seat through the Maharashtra BBA CET counselling process have only hours left to act. The Maharashtra State CET Cell has set today as the last date for CAP round registration, with the application window closing at 5 PM. Anyone who has qualified MAH BBA CET 2026 but hasn't yet submitted their CAP form needs to do so before the deadline to stay in the running for this admission cycle.

Why Today Matters More Than It Looks

Registration for BBA CAP 2026 actually opened on July 6, giving candidates over a week to apply — but with document verification scheduled to begin almost immediately after registration closes, missing today's cutoff doesn't just mean a delay. It effectively removes candidates from this counselling cycle, since the next steps are already locked in.

What Happens After You Register

Registration is only the first step. Once submitted, candidates move into a two-stage verification process before their choices are locked in:

• E-scrutiny — documents uploaded online are checked digitally
• Physical scrutiny — candidates may need to present original documents for verification

Only after successful verification does a candidate's application count toward the provisional merit list due on July 19.

How to Register: Step-by-Step

1. Visit the Maharashtra CET Cell website: cetcell.mahacet.org
2. Click on the CAP AY 2026-27 tab
3. Log in with username and password
4. Navigate to the MAH BBA CAP 2026 section
5. Click 'New Registration' and enter the required details
6. Upload scanned copies of the required documents
7. Select preferred colleges from the drop-down list
8. Submit the CAP 2026 application form

Still Waiting on Class 12 Results? You Can Still Apply

A detail that trips up several candidates every year: Class 12 results are not mandatory to register for CAP rounds. Candidates awaiting their results can still apply and, if shortlisted, will be granted provisional admission — with the actual Class 12 marksheet required later to confirm the final seat.

Quick Recap: The Exam Behind Today's Deadline

For context on how candidates arrived at this stage: MAH BBA CET 2026 was conducted over three days — April 28, 29, and 30 — with results announced on June 11. Everything since then, including today's registration deadline, has been building toward the provisional merit list expected on July 19.

Candidates who haven't yet registered are advised to complete the process well before the 5 PM cutoff, since portal traffic typically spikes in the final hours of any counselling deadline.
