How the CAP Process Works
Each round of the MAH BBA CAP process follows a similar pattern: the CET Cell first displays the provisional seat matrix showing category-wise seat availability, after which candidates submit and confirm their option form within the specified window. Once the provisional allotment is out, candidates who receive a seat must accept it through their login and then report to the allotted institute with the required documents and fee to confirm admission, all within the timelines listed above.
Candidates who do not secure a seat in a round, or wish to improve their allotment, can participate in the subsequent round by submitting fresh options once the vacant seat list for that round is displayed.
What Candidates Should Do Now
With the final merit list and Round 1 seat matrix approaching, candidates are advised to complete pending document verification at the earliest, since today is the last date for it. They should also keep their login credentials handy and regularly check the official portal, bba2026.mahacet.org.in, for updates on the merit list, grievance window, and each round's option form and allotment schedule. Being prompt at every stage — from option filling to reporting — is essential, since missing a deadline in any round could affect a candidate's chances in the CAP process.
