The KMAT (Karnataka Management Aptitude Test) 2026 admit card has not been released yet but is expected any time now, according to the Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association (KPPGCA). Once live, registered candidates will be able to download their hall ticket from the official website, kmatindia.com, ahead of the exam on September 20, 2026.
KMAT is conducted for admission to MBA, PGDM and MCA programs at colleges across Karnataka, with scores accepted by roughly 178 institutes. Registration for this cycle closed on September 6, 2026.
KMAT Admit Card 2026: Current Status
KPPGCA has not announced an exact release date or time for the admit card as of this update. Candidates should keep checking kmatindia.com directly rather than acting on unconfirmed release-time claims circulating on social media.

Login Credentials: What You'll Need
The notice behind this update mentions "application number and password," while other lines in the same feed refer to "application number and date of birth." Keep both details ready so you're not stuck figuring this out the moment the link goes live.
Details Mentioned on the KMAT 2026 Admit Card
- Candidate's name
- Candidate's photograph
- Application number
- Exam date
- Exam timing
- Exam instructions
Check every field the moment you download it, and report any mismatch immediately — see Helpdesk below.
Exam Date, Timing and Mode
KMAT 2026 will be held on September 20, 2026. By course:
- MCA exam: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- MBA exam: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
The test runs for 120 minutes with no sectional time limit — you can attempt questions in any order, but the test closes automatically once the 120 minutes are up, so save your answers as you go. There is only one slot, with no provision to switch.
KMAT 2026 is a remote-proctored, online exam — candidates take it from their own location rather than at a physical test centre, monitored via webcam throughout.
What to Carry on Exam Day
Even though the exam is home-based, you still need physical documents ready for identity verification on camera:
- A printed copy of the admit card — soft copies, screenshots or emailed PDFs are not accepted
- A valid government photo ID (Aadhaar, Voter ID, or an alternative such as a college/university ID or driving licence)
- A photocopy of that ID
- Two recent passport-size colour photographs matching the one uploaded during registration
Log in at least 15 minutes before your slot starts; a technical-issue window is available if you run into login trouble at that stage.
Dress Code and Room Setup
Because KMAT 2026 uses remote proctoring:
- Dress formally
- Sit in a well-lit room with a clear webcam view
- Keep the room free of background noise
- Make sure no one else is present during the exam
Admit Card Validity and Errors
The admit card is valid for the exam only if every detail on it matches your application, and it can't be reused for any future attempt. If you spot an error, report it to the helpdesk as soon as you download the card, so there's time to fix it before September 20.
The download link will stay live only until exam day; KPPGCA has said it will be removed after September 20, 2026.
