Who Needs to Confirm Kerala NEET UG Round 2 Options?

Online option confirmation is mandatory for candidates who want their higher-order MBBS or BDS options to be considered in the second-phase allotment.

• Candidates who received admission in the first phase and want consideration for higher options.
• Candidates who did not receive an allotment in the first phase.
• Eligible candidates seeking allotment to available MBBS/BDS seats in the second phase.

What Happens If Candidates Do Not Confirm Options?

Candidates who do not confirm their options after receiving a first-phase admission will retain the admission received in the first phase, but their higher-order options will not be considered for the second-phase allotment. Candidates who have joined in the first phase but want to vacate their allotted seat must do so by September 10, 2026, at 5 PM. According to CEE, such candidates will not be considered for further rounds of centralised MBBS/BDS allotment.

Candidates can complete the process through the CEE Kerala website.

1. Visit the official CEE Kerala website.
2. Open the KEAM 2026 Candidate Portal.
3. Log in using the required candidate credentials.
4. Open the MBBS/BDS second-phase option confirmation facility.
5. Click the Confirm option.
6. Rearrange higher-order options or delete unwanted college/course preferences, if required.
7. Complete the process before September 11 at 10 AM.
8. Keep a record of the submitted options.

The official notification says that candidates can rearrange higher-order options and delete unwanted options, courses or colleges after completing online confirmation.

Kerala NEET UG Round 2 Allotment and Joining

CEE Kerala has scheduled the provisional second allotment for September 11, 2026, followed by the final second-phase allotment on September 12, 2026. Candidates who receive an allotment must take a printout of their allotment memo, pay the applicable fee or balance fee and join the allotted college within the prescribed deadline. The joining window is scheduled from September 14 to September 18, 2026, up to 4 PM.

Fee Payment After Kerala Round 2 Allotment

Candidates allotted MBBS/BDS seats in self-financing colleges must pay the applicable fee or balance fee specified in the allotment memo to the concerned college. Candidates allotted government medical or dental courses must pay the complete fee to the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations. CEE has also stated that the 2026-27 fees for self-financing medical and dental colleges had not been finalised when the notification was issued. Candidates allotted such seats may therefore be required to make a provisional payment based on the applicable previous-year fee, with any balance to be paid if the final fee is higher.
