The wait is finally coming to a close for engineering aspirants across Karnataka. The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) is set to release the final Round 1 seat allotment result for KCET 2026 today on the official portal, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. After weeks of registration, choice filling, and a provisional allotment stage, this is the moment that actually decides which college and course candidates will get.

For thousands of students who've been tracking this process closely, today's release moves things from "provisional" to real. The provisional allotment gave candidates a chance to review and raise objections, and now that window has closed, the final result reflects those corrections and locks things in.

• Verify all details carefully, college, course, category, and rank
• Proceed with seat acceptance and fee payment within the prescribed window
• Keep all required documents ready for verification to avoid last-minute delays

Once Round 1 concludes, KEA is expected to open subsequent rounds for candidates who didn't receive a seat or wish to try for an upgrade. Candidates are advised to stay alert to the official portal for updates on Round 2 schedules and any additional seat matrix releases.
