The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has reopened the choice filling for the Jammu and Kashmir Common Entrance Test (JKCET) 2026. This new opportunity is for admission into vacant BTech seats. Qualified candidates can now submit their preferences until July 20, 2026. The board announced this extended window on July 18, 2026. The official notice can be found on the JKBOPEE website under the JKCET section. Candidates should read the full notification before beginning the process. This round covers seats that remained unfilled in previous counseling sessions. To log in, candidates can use their existing JKCET 2026 registration details on the JKBOPEE portal at jkbopee.gov.in. Seat allotment for this round will be announced after the choice-filling window closes.

How to Fill JKCET 2026 Choices for Vacant Seats?

The process requires a stable internet connection and a valid login. Be sure to have your JKCET 2026 credentials and rank details ready before you start. 

Follow these steps on the JKBOPEE portal:

  1. Visit the official JKBOPEE website at jkbopee.gov.in.
  2. Open the JKCET 2026 choice filling link on the homepage.
  3. Log in using your application number and password.
  4. Select colleges and branches from the seat matrix in your preferred order.
  5. Rearrange or remove choices as needed before locking.
  6. Lock your preferences before the July 20, 2026 deadline.
  7. Download the confirmation slip for future reference.

Who Can Participate in This Round?

This round is open to candidates who qualified in JKCET 2027. Those who did not get a seat in earlier rounds can apply now. Candidates who withdrew from previous rounds are also eligible.
