The National Testing Agency has officially started the registration process for JIPMAT 2026, opening doors for students aiming to pursue a management career right after Class 12. The application window went live on April 16, 2026, and will remain open until May 10, 2026 (11:50 PM).
JIPMAT, short for Joint Integrated Programme in Management Admission Test, is a national-level entrance exam conducted for admission into the prestigious five-year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) offered by Indian Institute of Management Bodh Gaya and Indian Institute of Management Jammu. For students who already know they want to build a career in business and management, this exam is an early gateway into the IIM ecosystem.
The exam will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode on June 7, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM. Candidates will have 150 minutes to attempt multiple-choice questions designed to assess their aptitude, logical reasoning, and basic quantitative skills. The paper will be conducted entirely in English.
Students can apply only through the official NTA website. The process is fully online, and no offline forms will be accepted. To get started, candidates need to register using a valid email ID and mobile number. It’s important to use active contact details, as all future communication—including admit cards and result updates—will be shared through these channels.
The application fee must be paid by May 11, 2026 (11:50 PM) via online payment methods such as debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI. Missing the fee payment deadline will lead to an incomplete application, and such candidates won’t be allowed to appear for the exam.
For those who make mistakes while filling out the form, NTA has also provided a correction window from May 12 to May 14, 2026. This gives applicants a short but crucial opportunity to review and fix any errors in their submitted details.
Admit cards will be released closer to the exam date. Candidates must download them from the official website and carefully check all details such as their name, exam center, and timings. On the day of the exam, carrying the admit card along with a valid government-issued ID is mandatory.
After the exam, NTA will release the provisional answer key along with candidates’ recorded responses. This allows students to review their answers and even raise objections if needed before the final results are declared.
Overall, JIPMAT 2026 is a great opportunity for students who want to start their management journey early and secure a place in top IIMs. With clear timelines and a straightforward application process, candidates are advised not to wait until the last minute and complete their registration well before the deadline.
