The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to begin the registration process for JEE Main 2027 Session 1 in October 2026. The exact registration date has not been announced yet. As per the expected timeline, the JEE Main 2027 application form may be released in the last week of October 2026 on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in.

The NTA is expected to release the JEE Main 2027 notification with details of the application schedule, eligibility criteria, examination dates, application fee and other instructions. The notification is expected by the end of September 2026. However, candidates should note that these timelines are tentative, and the final dates will be confirmed only through the official NTA notification.

JEE Main 2027 Registration: What Students Should Keep Ready

With the registration window expected to open next month, candidates can start arranging the information and documents that may be required while filling out the JEE Main 2027 application form.

Students should keep the following details and documents ready:

• Class 10 details: Keep the Class 10 marksheet or certificate and details such as the year of passing readily available.
• Class 12 details: Candidates appearing for or who have already passed Class 12 should keep their academic information ready.
• Recent photograph: A recent passport-size photograph should be kept ready in the format and specifications prescribed by NTA.
• Signature: Candidates should keep a scanned image of their signature prepared according to the specifications mentioned in the official instructions.

JEE Main 2027 Session 1 Exam Expected in January

JEE Main 2027 is expected to be conducted in two sessions — January and April 2027. Session 1 is expected to take place in January, while Session 2 is likely to be conducted in April.

However, NTA has not yet announced the final examination schedule. Candidates should therefore treat the expected October registration and January examination timelines as tentative until the agency releases the official notification.

Candidates Should Wait for Official Schedule

Candidates planning to appear for JEE Main 2027 should regularly check the official JEE Main website for updates regarding registration, eligibility, examination dates and application instructions.

Students should avoid relying on unofficial registration or examination dates circulating on social media or other platforms. The official NTA notification will be the final source for the JEE Main 2027 schedule.
