The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee will release the JEE Advanced Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) 2026 result on Sunday, June 7, 2026.

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee will release the JEE Advanced Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) 2026 result on Sunday, June 7, 2026. Candidates can check their scorecard on the official website, jeeadv.ac.in. The result is expected to be available at 5:00 PM IST. The AAT 2026 exam took place on Thursday, June 4, 2026, in one session from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM IST. The result will only show whether the candidate has passed or failed. IIT Roorkee will not provide individual scores or ranks for the AAT.

What Skills Does JEE Advanced AAT Test?

The AAT evaluates the design sense of students aiming for BArch admission at the IITs. The exam lasts three hours and is conducted in pen-and-paper format at the IIT zonal centres.

The test measures the following skills of the candidates:

  • Freehand drawing and understanding of proportions
  • Geometrical drawing and the ability to visualise
  • Understanding of three-dimensional objects and imagination
  • Awareness of architecture and sensitivity to aesthetics

How to Download the JEE Advanced AAT 2026 Scorecard?

Candidates can follow these steps to access the result on June 7. They need to use the same login details as during AAT registration.

  • Go to the official JEE Advanced website at jeeadv.ac.in.
  • Click on the AAT 2026 result link on the homepage.
  • Enter the registration number, date of birth, and mobile number.
  • Submit the details to see if they have passed or failed. 
  • Download the scorecard and keep a printed copy for future reference.

Who Is Eligible for BArch Seats Through AAT?

Only those who qualified in JEE Advanced 2026 are allowed to register for AAT. Those who pass the AAT 2026 are eligible for BArch admission at three IITs.

  • IIT Roorkee
  • IIT Kharagpur
  • IIT (BHU) Varanasi

What Happens After the AAT 2026 Result?

Candidates who qualify must select BArch as one of their choices on the JoSAA 2026 portal. JoSAA manages the joint counselling process for all IITs, NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs. Seat allocation will happen in several rounds based on JEE Advanced ranks. Reporting and payment of fees will follow each round on the JoSAA portal.

Action Plan for Candidates

  • Log in to jeeadv.ac.in at 5 PM on June 7 to check your status.
  • Download and save your AAT 2026 scorecard immediately.
  • If you are declared PASS, go to the JoSAA portal during counselling to select BArch options.
  • Make sure you have your JEE Advanced registration number and date of birth ready.
  • Keep an eye on the JoSAA seat allotment rounds for the three IITs that offer BArch programs.
