GATE COAP 2026 Round 4 Offer Selections
Students who have received offers in Round 4 have three options available on their COAP portal. The first option is Accept & Freeze, which means the student accepts the offer right away and stops participating in any other rounds. The second option is Retain & Wait. This allows the student to keep the offer but still be considered for future offers. However, this option can only be used twice for the same offer. The third option is Reject & Wait. With this, the student can decline the current offer and wait for future rounds. It’s important to note that if a student doesn’t make a choice before the deadline, their Round 4 offer will be treated as automatically rejected.
How to Apply for COAP 2026 GATE Round 4 Offer
- To apply, candidates need to log in to the COAP portal using their GATE credentials and COAP ID.
- Once logged in, they should go to the 'My Offers' tab to see all the offers that have been sent by the participating institutes in COAP 2026.
- Each offer includes important information such as the institute name, program name, and the category of the seat.
Students should carefully review each offer before deciding. They need to make sure that the specialisation and other details match their interests and eligibility. To help make a better choice, students can compare their GATE score with the cutoff trends from previous rounds of COAP 2026. Factors like the institute's reputation, the specialisation offered, placement opportunities, and other career-related aspects should be considered. If a student gets multiple offers, they should decide based on their academic and career goals. Since the Accept & Freeze option is final, it’s crucial to make sure about the choice before proceeding.
