DU CES 2026 Admission Opens; Check Eligibility, Fee and Application Process

The University of Delhi (DU) has opened admissions for the Competence Enhancement Scheme (CES) 2026-27 through its official portal. The scheme allows learners to enrol in individual papers offered by eligible DU departments, colleges and the School of Open Learning instead of enrolling in a full programme. Under the CES, applicants can select up to two papers or eight credits in a semester, with the selected papers belonging to the same discipline. The fee is fixed at ₹6,000 per paper. Admission is merit-based and subject to seat availability. Applicants must also satisfy the prerequisites specified for their selected papers.

• The fee under the scheme is ₹6,000 per paper.
• A candidate can take a maximum of two papers or eight credits in one semester, subject to the applicable paper-level requirements.
