CUET UG 2026 Answer Key Out — Response Sheet Released at cuet.nta.nic.in; Objection Window Active, DU PG Counselling Underway

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the CUET UG 2026 provisional answer key and response sheet on cuet.nta.nic.in. With 15.68 lakh students having appeared for the exam, this is one of the most awaited announcements of the academic calendar. Candidates can now log in, download their response sheets, and calculate their expected scores before the official result is declared.

In a parallel update, DU Counselling for CUET PG 2026 has also been initiated as of June 9, 2026 — making this a busy and critical period for students targeting admissions across India's top universities.

Key Highlights at a Glance

What Has Been Released

NTA has simultaneously released two things — the provisional answer key and the live objection window. The response sheet displays every candidate's marked answers question by question, allowing accurate score estimation before results are officially out.

CUET UG 2026 Marking Scheme

Understanding the marking scheme is critical before calculating your score:

• Correct answer — +5 marks
• Incorrect answer — −1 mark
• Unattempted — 0 marks, no penalty

Use this formula carefully when cross-checking your response sheet against the answer key.

What Is Mentioned on the Answer Key

The provisional answer key document contains the following details:

• Question number and series/paper code
• Subject and domain name
• Correct answer option for each question
• Full marking key for all sections

Candidates must verify each of these fields against their personal response sheet before deciding to raise an objection.

How the Objection Window Works

Candidates are encouraged to raise objections only for genuine discrepancies — each challenge requires a fee payment, so review carefully before submitting.

What Comes After the Answer Key

Once the objection window closes and NTA publishes the final answer key, the CUET UG 2026 result will be declared on cuet.nta.nic.in. Here is what follows:

• Score release — individual scorecards published on the portal
• University cutoffs — participating universities release their admission cutoff lists
• Counselling rounds — seat allotment and admission based on CUET scores
• DU PG Counselling — already initiated for postgraduate aspirants

Participating Universities — Who Accepts CUET UG Scores
