The Consortium of National Law Universities will close CLAT UG 2027 applications on October 31, 2026, at 11:59 PM. Candidates seeking admission to the five-year integrated LL.B. programmes at 26 National Law Universities must submit their completed form and pay the application fee before the deadline. The Consortium has confirmed that no extension will be granted .
The CLAT 2027 examination will be held on Sunday, December 6, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM in offline (pen-and-paper/OMR) mode . Candidates belonging to the PwD category will have until 4:40 PM .

Fields You Cannot Change After Submission
The Consortium has specified that once the application is submitted and paid, the following fields cannot be modified :
Programme (CLAT UG or CLAT PG)
Category (General, SC, ST, OBC, etc.)
BPL status
Candidates must verify these selections carefully before proceeding to payment. A separate correction window is expected in November 2026, but only permitted fields—such as exam centre preferences, personal details, and uploaded documents—will be editable .
Before You Submit: Checklist
Name matching: The candidate's name and parents' names must match exactly as they appear on certificates, mark sheets, or identity proof. Discrepancies may lead to disqualification .
Registration credentials: Register using a personal mobile number and email ID. An OTP will validate the mobile number before login .
Document uploads: Photograph, signature, and applicable category certificates must be uploaded as per portal specifications.
Fee payment: The application is not complete until the fee is paid. Incomplete forms will not be considered .
Category certificate: Candidates who do not currently possess a reservation certificate may apply now but must produce it at the time of admission, failing which eligibility for that category will be forfeited .
What Happens Next
After the application window closes, the Consortium is expected to open a correction window in November 2026 for limited edits . The admit card release date will be announced separately on consortiumofnlus.ac.in. Candidates should monitor the official portal for updates, as no individual communication is guaranteed.
