The Directorate of AYUSH, Chhattisgarh has released the UG AYUSH Counselling 2026-27 schedule for admission to BAMS, BHMS and BNYS courses. The schedule was published on September 3, 2026, on the official counselling portal, along with the information bulletin, admission rules, seat matrices and other documents. According to the official schedule, Round 1 registration and payment will be conducted from September 7 to September 16, 2026. Choice filling and locking will remain open during the same period. The Round 1 merit list will be published on September 18, while the seat allotment process is scheduled for September 20 and 21. The Round 1 allotment result will be published on September 23. The counselling covers Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS), Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS), and Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences (BNYS).

Chhattisgarh AYUSH Eligibility 2026
For BAMS and BHMS, candidates must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology and English. They must also qualify NEET UG 2026 with the prescribed minimum percentile for their category. The bulletin specifies 50 percentile for UR/EWS candidates, 45 for UR PwD candidates and 40 for SC/ST/OBC and the corresponding PwD categories. For BNYS, the bulletin requires candidates to have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. The required PCB aggregate is 50% for UR/EWS, 45% for UR PwD and 40% for SC/ST/OBC and the corresponding PwD categories.
How to Register for Chhattisgarh AYUSH Counselling 2026?
Candidates will have to complete the application process online through the official CG AYUSH counselling portal.
- Visit cgayush.admissions.nic.in.
- Select the relevant BAMS/BHMS or BNYS registration option once activated.
- Enter the required information as instructed.
- Pay the applicable registration/application fee.
- Complete choice filling and lock the selected preferences before the deadline.
- Save or print the submitted application and locked choices for future reference.
The official bulletin states that applications can only be submitted online through the Directorate of AYUSH, Chhattisgarh counselling website.
BAMS, BHMS and BNYS Registration Rules
Candidates should pay attention to the registration structure. The official bulletin states that one registration is applicable for BAMS and BHMS, covering state quota and private-institute AIQ seats. BNYS has a separate registration for state quota seats. Candidates can select state quota, private-institute AIQ seats, or both for BAMS/BHMS according to their eligibility.
The bulletin also states that the registration/application fee is paid once through the Mop-Up Round. If seats remain vacant, fresh registration is conducted for the Stray Vacancy Round. Candidates already registered who were not allotted a seat up to the Mop-Up Round do not need to register again for the Stray Vacancy Round and only need to fill choices.
