CENTAC Extends Puducherry MD/MS Application Deadline to October 29: Edit Dashboard, Switch Quota

CENTAC, Puducherry, has extended the application deadline for MD/MS admissions 2026–27 to October 29, 2026, at 5 PM. No further extension will be granted. Existing applicants can log in to their dashboard to edit submitted data or certificates, and Government Quota applicants may now opt for Management Quota .
The original deadline was October 27, 2026. The extension gives fresh applicants two additional days and allows existing applicants to correct errors or change quota preferences before the final cutoff .

The official extension notice (Ref.No.CENTAC/PGM/2026/02 dated October 27, 2026) states explicitly: "no further extension of time will be provided for submission" .
For Fresh Applicants
Candidates who have not yet submitted an MD/MS application for 2026–27 can still apply through centacpuducherry.in until 5 PM on October 29. The application must be completed online, including fee payment, within this window.
For Existing Applicants: How to Edit
Candidates who already submitted an application can log in to their candidate dashboard and:
- Edit personal data submitted earlier
- Update or replace certificates that were uploaded
- Resubmit the corrected application before the October 29 deadline
The dashboard edit option is available for all existing applicants, not just those with specific errors.
Government Quota to Management Quota Switch
CENTAC has clarified that candidates who originally applied under the Government Quota may edit their application to opt for the Management Quota .
To make this change:
- Log in to the candidate dashboard.
- Locate the quota preference section.
- Select Management Quota.
- Save and resubmit before 5 PM on October 29.
This option is time-bound. Once the October 29 deadline passes, no quota changes will be permitted .
Important Warnings
No further extension: CENTAC has stated this is the final deadline .
Resubmission required: Edits must be saved and resubmitted; simply editing without submitting does not count.
