BITS Pilani is expected to release the BITSAT 2026 Session 2 result in the first week of June on its official admission portal, bitsadmission.com.
BITS Pilani is expected to release the BITSAT 2026 Session 2 result in the first week of June on its official admission portal, bitsadmission.com. The Session 2 examination was conducted from May 25 to 27, 2026, with an absentee slot held on May 31. Candidates who appeared in both sessions will have their better score automatically considered for the merit list.
The BITSAT Session 1 result was already declared on April 29, 2026. Once Session 2 results are out, candidates can log in using their application number and password to download their official moderated scorecard from the BITS admission portal.
What Is a Moderated Score and Why Does It Matter?
Since BITSAT is conducted across multiple sessions with varying difficulty levels, BITS Pilani applies a score moderation process to ensure fairness. The moderated score — not the raw score shown on screen immediately after the exam — is the official score used for all admission-related purposes, including merit list preparation, course and campus eligibility, seat allotment across iterations, and building the Admit List and Wait List. Candidates are advised not to rely on the provisional score seen right after the test.
BITSAT 2026 Preference Form Edit Window Extended
In a key update, BITS Pilani has postponed the last date to submit the First Degree (B.E., M.Sc., B.Pharm.) Preference Form Edit Window. The revised dates will be announced shortly on the official website, admissions.bits-pilani.ac.in, and candidates will be notified via email.
Expected Cutoffs for Top Programs
While the official BITSAT 2026 cutoffs will be released after Session 2 results, based on previous year data and expert analysis, B.E. Computer Science at BITS Pilani is expected to require 310–320, at BITS Goa around 275–285, and at BITS Hyderabad approximately 270–280. For B.E. Mathematics and Computing at Pilani, the expected range is 295–300.
