BFUHS’s October 14 admission notice states that the exam had originally been scheduled for October 15 but was shifted because of the Punjab bandh.The university has also revised the subsequent merit and physical-counselling timeline, with the first counselling scheduled for October 27–28 and the second for October 30–31.

Both physical counselling rounds are scheduled at Guru Gobind Singh Medical College, Faridkot.
Why Was the BFUHS Entrance Exam Rescheduled?
BFUHS states on its official admission notice board that the entrance examination scheduled for October 15 has been shifted to October 21 due to the Punjab bandh. Candidates should therefore use the October 14 revised notice rather than an older exam-date screenshot or admission entry. This is especially important because BFUHS’s October 13 roll-number entry still displays the earlier October 15 test date on the website.
Which Courses Are Covered by the Revised Exam?
BFUHS’s October 14 notice explicitly refers to:
- M.Sc. Nuclear Medicine
- notified Post Graduate Degree courses
- notified Post Graduate Diploma courses.
The university had separately opened an application portal for Postgraduate Degree (M.Sc.) and Postgraduate Diploma admissions in September. Candidates should check their programme-specific application/prospectus because the short rescheduling notice does not reproduce the full list of covered courses.
BFUHS Entrance Exam Time on October 21
11:00 AM to 12:30 PM on October 21, 2026. Candidates should not confuse this with 9:30 AM, which is the reporting time specified for the later physical counselling rounds. The revised schedule image does not separately state a new exam reporting time or exam venue. Candidates should therefore follow the applicable BFUHS admit card/roll-number instructions for those details.
Objections on October 22
BFUHS has scheduled October 22, 2026 for objections, if any, following the entrance examination. The revised notice does not specify a closing time or detailed submission method in the date table. Candidates wishing to raise an objection should therefore use only the process subsequently prescribed by BFUHS.
Merit List to Be Displayed on October 23
The revised schedule sets October 23, 2026 for display of the merit list. Candidates should check the official BFUHS notice board rather than wait for a personal message. The university’s admissions documentation also makes clear that admission remains subject to candidate eligibility and document verification; submission of an application alone does not create a right to admission. For M.Sc. Nuclear Medicine, BFUHS’s prospectus states that provisional selection is subject to original-document and eligibility verification.
First Physical Counselling on October 27–28
The first physical counselling, including reporting/joining, is scheduled for:
October 27 and October 28, 2026.
- Venue: Guru Gobind Singh Medical College, Faridkot
- Reporting time: 9:30 AM.
Candidates should carry the programme-specific documents and follow BFUHS’s applicable counselling instructions. For M.Sc. Nuclear Medicine, the official prospectus requires candidates to appear personally for counselling and produce original documents for verification.
Second Physical Counselling on October 30–31
BFUHS has scheduled the second physical counselling/reporting/joining on October 30 and October 31, 2026. The venue remains Guru Gobind Singh Medical College, Faridkot, with candidates required to report at 9:30 AM. The overall admission process closes on October 31, 2026 under the revised timeline.
Other-State Candidates to Be Considered Subsequently
The revised schedule says:
Other-state candidates will be considered in a subsequent counselling round after the list of Punjab candidates is exhausted. This does not guarantee admission or a seat to every other-state applicant. Their consideration remains dependent on vacancies, merit, eligibility and applicable BFUHS rules. The M.Sc. Nuclear Medicine prospectus similarly states that non-Punjab candidates are considered after exhausting Punjab candidates.
BFUHS Will Not Send Separate Counselling Intimation
An important instruction in the revised timetable says that no separate intimation regarding the date and time for counselling will be given. Candidates should therefore monitor the official BFUHS website themselves and should not wait for an SMS, email or individual counselling letter before checking updates.
Will BFUHS Issue a New Admit Card?
The current BFUHS admission page still contains an October 13 entry for downloading Allied Health roll numbers that mentions the old October 15 test date. The newer October 14 notice clearly moves the exam to October 21.
However, the rescheduling notice does not explicitly state whether:
- existing admit cards remain valid;
- revised admit cards will be issued;
- candidates must redownload their roll number.
Therefore:
Revised admit-card requirement:
Candidates should monitor BFUHS and use whichever admit card/roll-number instructions the university currently displays before the exam.
This Is Not the NEET PG MD/MS Counselling Schedule
Candidates should not confuse this update with Punjab NEET PG MD/MS counselling. On October 14, BFUHS separately listed an application facility for MD/MS/Diploma/PGDSM/6-month ultrasonography/DNB under NEET PG 2026, alongside the independent Allied Health entrance-exam rescheduling notice. Therefore, the October 21 test and October 27–31 physical counselling timetable should only be applied to the Allied Health postgraduate admission process identified by BFUHS.
What Should Candidates Do Now?
Candidates covered by this examination should:
- update travel and exam plans for October 21;
- note the 11 AM–12:30 PM test timing;
- check whether BFUHS updates the admit card/roll number;
- monitor October 22 objection instructions;
- check the merit list on October 23;
- keep October 27–28 and October 30–31 available for physical counselling where applicable;
- remember that counselling reporting is at 9:30 AM;
- carry programme-specific original documents;
- monitor BFUHS directly because no separate counselling intimation is promised.
