Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU) has kicked off its admission process for undergraduate and diploma programs for the 2026-27 academic session, opening the registration portal to candidates shortly after the release of CUET UG 2026 results. Eligible students can now apply through the university's dedicated admission portal.
Two Deadlines, Two Costs
BBAU has built some flexibility into this year's registration timeline, but it comes at a price for latecomers:
| Deadline | Condition |
|---|---|
| July 30, 2026 | Apply online — no late fee |
| August 5, 2026 | Apply online — with late fee of INR 1,000 |
Students who miss the July 30 cutoff aren't locked out entirely, but the six-day grace period comes with a flat INR 1,000 penalty, making early submission the more cost-effective route.
Why the Timing Matters
This year's admission cycle isn't running on a standalone schedule — it's directly tied to the CUET UG 2026 results, which is what triggered the opening of BBAU's registration window. Only candidates who appeared for CUET UG 2026 and meet the eligibility criteria for BBAU's UG and diploma programs are eligible to apply.
Applying in Six Steps
- Visit the official BBAU admission portal
- Register using the required credentials
- Fill in the online application form
- Upload the necessary documents
- Pay the prescribed application fee
- Submit the application before the deadline
Who to Contact If You Get Stuck
BBAU has set up a dedicated support system to handle registration and admission-related queries, recognizing that last-minute technical or documentation issues are common during high-traffic application windows:
- Toll-Free Helpline: 1800-180-5789
- Email Support: admission@bbau.ac.in
Students are encouraged to reach out well before the deadline rather than during the final rush, when portal traffic and query volumes tend to peak.
The Bottom Line for Applicants
With eligibility tied to CUET UG 2026 and a firm late-fee cutoff just five days after the free deadline, candidates have a narrow but clear window to act. Submitting well ahead of July 30 not only avoids the INR 1,000 penalty but also leaves room to resolve any document or payment issues before the portal closes for good on August 5.
